Self Catering Holiday Cottages

Swallow Holiday Cotages has two groups, of four cottages in the quiet villages of Hawsker and Stainscre just 2K from the historic town of Whitby. It is an excellent base from which to tour many areas such as 'The Heritage Coastline' with numerous pretty fishing villages which are steeped in history. And nearby the the stunning North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

Each cottage enjoys a panoramic view of the open countryside.

Cottages at Hawsker.

Bumleby cottage is especially designed with wheelchair users in mind.

Double bedroom with en-suite shower, twin bedroom next to the large shower room with toilet for wheelchair access. A specious through lounge with colour TV and a fully
equipped kitchen with a microwave oven and grill, gas stove for easy access
for the wheelchair users.

Cobweb and Far View cottages all enjoy magic of the original beamed ceilings, doors and the atmosphere of days gone by. Double bedroom en-suite and twin bedroom upstairs sleeping 4 in total. Downstairs there is a lounge with TV. and dinning room, fully
equipped kitchen and a further shower and toilet facilities.

Johns' cottage has a through lounge and full kitchen. Leading off the lounge is the main double bedroom,also along side is the bathroom with full facilities. Upstairs is a gallery twin bedroom.

The Studio with shower & toilet and a mini full kitchen. With a sofa bed and TV ideal forthe single person.

All the cottages enjoy full gas central heating, linen and towels provide, Fuel by meter(£1 coins, parking, pets welcome. A good bus service to Whitby and Scarborough.

Cottages at Stainsacre.

Honeysuckle Cottage is a one double bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet facilities. Fully equipped kitchen and lounge.

Chestnut Cottage also a one double bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet facilities, but with lounge and fully equipped kitchen combined.

Rigg and Abbey View are double and twin bedrooms with bathroom and toilet facilities downstairs, plus lounge and fully equipped open plan kitchen and dinningroom.

All the cottages enjoy full gas central heating, linen and towles provide, fuel by meter(£1 coin) parking, pets welcome. A good bus service to Whitby, Scarbrough and York.
