Located just 2 1/2 miles south of Whitby Swallow Holiday Cottages is a personally run business set in a breathtaking rural setting, which provides more diverse amenities than any other adjacent to or in Whitby.

Our luxury barn conversions, B/B in the farmhouse plus the exquisite licensed small caravan site offers a not to be forgotten holiday or short break for all the family. They are open all year and we also allow pets in our cottages in order that you can bring the whole family on holiday!

We are ideally located for you to take off and visit the many attraction this area offers.

Take a ride along the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Train from Whitby to Goathland ( Heartbeat Country ) where you can soak up the atmosphere of this popular village.

You can hire a bike from Trailways opposite the cottages and ride along the old Whitby to Scarborough railway line down to the famous picturesque village of Robin Hoods Bay, where you can enjoy spectacular view looking over the bay towards Ravenscar. The old style winding street takes you back to Victorian times.

Take a bus trip to the famous seaside resort of Scarborough which offers all the attractions a family would need, beaches offering donkey rides for the kids, shopping to keep the wife happy, and take in a show at the Spar Pavilion. Swallow Holiday Cottage is the perfect location to take in all the above attractions and records show that repeat booking continue to grow, so we must be getting something right !
